With the new display flying rules it may as well be a static show anyway.

It seems all display flying to be over 600m away from crowd lines

All display flying to be over 600m away from crowd lines Essentially the far airfield boundary at Omaka. Airfield Road opposite the crowd line at Ardmore.

I have yet to read it myself, this info came from a display pilot that operates from omaka. One can only hope it's not correct!

From what I have heard it is not the crowdline that the new ruling of 600 m from, it is houses and buildings.

WTF. That rule would kill every airshow. I assume the CAA have heard of hangars?

Don't panic!!!! read the CAA rules. The display line is set at 220m for high energy aircraft, the 600m rule applies to clearing houses, any open air assembly of people(not airshow spectators behind display line)Read the regulations, they are online. Don't know who the display pilot was you quote, but during the airshow the camera clickers and ice-cream lickers will have plenty to enjoy. BTW this is not a new rule, it has been standard for a few years.

It’s still very early days, the lockdown’s not even happened yet! I’m waiting for official word before any doom and gloom. Who knows what’s possible.

With the best will in the world and fingers crossed but it is hard to see putting it back in the box in the next two weeks.
Just wonder if there is a cunning plan for another date change?

I regret to inform you that, inevitably, Classic Fighters 2021 has been cancelled. I have just received this from Graham Orphan.
