Now that is sensational.....reminds me of target strike pics 'twas nice to hear your insightful observations over the "tannoy" at the show Ando! Shame it wasn't more extensive... There were some real gems at this one, huh? It would have been nice to have heard an Australian voice complementing the display of the ANZAC Mosquito |

If only you'd been there on Friday: Ando and Mac were stuck on the bus all day, the poor beggars!  It was a joy to meet them in person - we ended up having a coffee together each morning. A great way to start a day at the airshow! I was staying with a friend who was an airshow volunteer which meant we were early to arrive and late to leave. johnnyfalcon, Many thanks for the comments. It would have been nice to do a bit more and maybe next time I shall get a jersey. It was a great weekend. So good to see the Moz and Brendon's Mustang. Equally the Corsair looked very impressive with its two new 'jugs'.....and I am a jugs man..... Robbie Eastgate's Mustang looks fantastic with them fitted.

As I took the opportunity for an extended holiday 'down south' after The Event I'm a bit late to this party. Now that I have checked through my photos I find that I actually captured some 40 aircraft that I had not seen before, must be some sort of record. The one that I really wanted to see was the Smith Mustang, having viewed it at Mapua many years ago.     |

Excellent photos Peter! You managed the strong contrast well It took a polarising filter and then over-exposing by anywhere from 1/3rd of a stop to a full f-stop to get anywhere near a good result in many cases. |

That topside of the Mosi is a winner, also the Mustang and Corsair together, also nice
