Are KC30 and A330 MRTT not the same aircraft? Definitely not a "combi" as we know it with the current B757. It's pax or MedEvac upstairs and cargo in a variety of different container types in the lower cargo holds. A great set up with none of role changing imbuggerance that currently takes aircraft offline for days at a time to achieve.

I’m referring to the C130J arrival date of April instead of September and the N190!!!

The Seaprite cost per flight hour is getting up near the same cost as a band new Seahawk.

The deal really is we need to be common with Aussie to save money overall. People need to remember we are 2400kmss from Aussie and further away from others. We need aircraft that can be imbedded into the Aussie system without to many hassles. We can also say money by having our Future aircrew embedded into the MRT Aussie squadrons so when we receive ours we can hit the ground running. yes we should have refueling capability as well as this allows our aircraft to extend there reach in our HUGE air of responsibility and also assist our Allies every now and then. This could also allow use to refuel any Drones we get to allow them to be on station as long as we want. The NZDF does a fine job working in there budget but money is now going to need to be spent due to aging Tech etc. The MRT will also be a good fit as most systems and engines are commercially available hence economy of scale. Most of the Military equipment is now modular. It will be interesting to see which way Judith and Winstone go.
