I believe that only NZ412, NZ413 and NZ404 have been definitely identified as carrying the Disney Markings ( source Warren Russell) and as such are not part of the second batch which my dad would definitely have a connection with.
I have bought a Special Hobby boxing of the same kit as well to do NZ418 post war with no turret and new cowlings after deliver to Southern Scenic Air Services at Frankton. Why I bought a secoond one is beyond me but it is £12 cheaper than the Classic Boxing, comes with all the optioanl sprues and I had partaken of alcholic beverages at the time.
I'll work out how to post eventually but at the moment the Anson has nearly been a flyer a couple of times. Still I built a Classic Hudson and that took four years.

yep, know that feeling, having two young children and a job that takes me away a lot does that too you.
I'm currently arm wrestling a Classic Airframe Anson into NZ418, as it was part of a batch built at Yeadon where my father was a pattern maker. So far it has been 18 months in the making and I haven't even closed the fuselage.
Take care

Anthony,
Spencer Pollard did the article in MIS I did one for Model Aircraft Monthly about 18 months ago using the Aliatilane conversion. The conversion is pricey and you need to source decals but it is worth it on balance.
If I could figure out how to post pictures I'd do so
Take care

Er.. I have actually been here for a whilel but never felt knowledgable enough to enter the threads. I'd like to apologise for all the mistakes in the articles, put it down to ignorance and an artist who though he knew best, hence the stuff up with NZ3072 and more.
I have been working for the past eight years on a more definitive article which has now turned into a book. I hope to get it published one day but there is aleays more to find out.
Take care
Andy
