Can non-resident kiwis enter Australia yet? I expect NZ to be open to residents fairly soon.

Hmmmm, wonder if I can convince SWHBO if I can go? Col one idea is to quietly cash in some "Dine and Discover" vouchers on a night out with SWHBO and the trip should be approved. ;-)

Australian national borders under Federal Government Health and Immigration rules will be fully open to all fully vaccinated travellers from 21 Feb 2022. But, then you have the individual state and territory rules regarding who they will or will not let in to their state or territory - varies in detail if you are flying in directly from overseas or if you have already spent time in another Australian state/territory. If you are flying into NSW, VIC, QLD or TAS after 21 Feb 2022, the State rules should be fully aligned with the Federal rules. SA still requires negative PCR test before international traveller arrival flying directly into SA - may change soon to align wih Federal rules. NT rules are changing as local outbreaks occur in various parts of the Territory, but should align with other states in broad terms. WA, the People's Democratic Republic of Westralia, will reopen when they reopen.
Your problem arises when it comes time for you fly home to NZ as currently you need to have current double vaxxed and will have to isolate at home for 10 days.
'Relax, ' said the night man, 'We are programmed to receive. You can check-out any time you like, But you can never leave!'
Of course by later in the year, or potentially middle of the year, the situation may change all again as the health experts are predicting an uptick in cases combined with a potentially more severe than usual annual flu season during the winter months.
So if you are looking to make plans for WDU 2022 or WOI 2022 you probably have a greater chance of more unrestricted travel between NZ and OZ - both ways - by then.

Temora Aviation Museum has advised today that the RAAF Roulettes will be a part of the flying display program at their Aircraft Showcase on 5 March 2022. Looks like it is shaping up to be a big day's flying program to open the year at Temora.
On other Temora news, RAAF King Air on the apron today, as well as the 'other' Tiger Moth that has joined the TAM Collection.
Civil works to rehabilitate and reseal the north-south runway (the one that is in front of the TAM hangars and apron) continues with the works expected to be completed by the end of April 2022. The runway works has been tied in with the major works to improve the airfield drainage, which given the amount of rain Temora saw at times during January is a good long term investment in the future operations of the airfield.

Three Spitfires and four P40s wow I wish, wonder when the last time was that four P40s flew in the same piece of sky in Oz? Chances of quite a few more in the not too distant future as well.

It would be very rare to get four P-40's in the air together anywhere in the world. Even getting three in the air in the USA is extremely rare, I believe, as they are all so widespread.

Latest newsletter out from Temora Aviation Museum today contains the following information:
Warbirds Downunder is scheduled for 15 & 16 October 2022
Tickets will be on pre-sale for Newsletter subscribers only 9am Friday 25th March.
UPDATE !!!! UPDATE !!!!
TAM has advised 24/03/2022 that due to issues with their ticketing partner, they have had to delay the release of the pre-sale for WDU 2022 tickets. They will send an email giving details on the new pre-sale ticket release date in an email in the near future. (Makes me think that their ticketing partner - if it is one of the 'big' two online ticketing companies may have not checked their ticket release schedules before setting the intial pre-sale date with TAM as this past week I have been bombarded by them with emails about pre-sales and ticket sales for a large number of big name musical artists touring Australia up until the end of this year. Have seen news and social media reports of two particular musicians ticket sales causing big problems on the ticket selling websites - website overload, time outs, transactions freezing, etc.)
