Those Connie shots, so nice could be air to airs, also the Trojan in the previous set. Great work Col thanks so much for sharing all these, so good to finally get an airshow off the ground!

Fantastic photos Col, thank you so much for sharing! I've seen several videos of the F-35 display. Amazing, but I'd love to see it in person! You'll have plenty of time , it's going to be around for while . The RAAF display is excellent, better than what I saw in the US in 2017. That's why I ditched nearly all of my F-35 photos. The sky was so dark on the Saturday that it was hard to get a decent image that doesn't nead a heap of Post processing . Colin's are very good especially considering the conditions. I seen a few others that are quite dynamic but they have clearly had a lot of extra photoshop help as the light in them doesn't look like what I remember it If anyone is interested I'm slowly loading my images here

The lighting was challenging, especially as the day went on. I do have quite a few photos taken on the Saturday that are not "keepers" as they were too dark, or lighting was from wrong angle, so a bit of culling to occur when I get the time. Realistically, most of the good photos I put down to a good camera body with high megapixel sensor with relatively good light sensitivity combined with 'big' glass to capture as much of the light to the sensor as possible. I don't have Photoshop, only the native preview/photo application on my iMac - so it is often more cropping and resizing so as not to be oversized for internet access or forum posts. Special Edition T-Shirt, my ideas have progressed to Version 2. Front. Tshirt Front V2 by Colin Ford, on Flickr Back. Decisions supposedly in next 18 months to 2 years - probably will flow on from the Defence Review currently running.
